(FR) FAMILY SPRING BREAK en Turquie
My NYFW Diary – DAY 1 : BCBGMAXAZRIA
Back to Fashion marathon! The Fall Winter 2014 Fashion Week started two days ago at the Lincoln Center.
Let me put this straight : it took me a while to get in the mood. When I’m writing this, I’m keyed up again, so happy to share with you, day after day, my second Fashion Week in New York, NYFW for friends and family (and compulsive not anonymous “hashtaggers”).
Things started pretty well the night before with the event at Paule Ka, a brand I’m so fond of and that you heard about many times on this blog. The first Paule … READ MORE
A sparkling Valentine’s day
A week ago, I had the chance to meet the dazzling Nathalie Colin, Artistic Director of Swarovski.
I never miss an opportunity to meet inspired and inspiring persons, and this kind of privilege is clearly one of the things I like the most about being a blogger! When I was asked to meet Nathalie Colin, I didn’t hesitate one second! We arranged an after work appointment a few blocks away from my place, near Kingside, at the lively and convivial Hotel Viceroy’s restaurant
It was no surprise to me to see that Nathalie Colin is like the jewels she … READ MORE

That’s it, no more pictures of coconut trees and hummingbirds. After two weeks of complete break and one week of thematic pictures and stories of my honeymoon in Costa Rica, let’s get back to our usual routine and start the week with today’s outfit, shot somewhere between Nolita and China town in front of a green wall, as if I was already missing the shades of the luxuriant jungle.
It was hard going back to shootings! I had a hard time posing, then a hard time selecting pictures : blank stare, half closed eyes, fringe in the wind, not … READ MORE
Costa Rica : SAN JOSE
Everything must come to an end! For the last chapter of my Costa Rica travel diary, I’m going to tell you more about San Jose, the capital of the country. The city isn’t highly touristic, but it’s a inevitable transfer point between different destinations.
That’s where we landed, where we spent a night in the middle of our trip to take a flight to Corcovado, and where we spent our last two nights before heading back to cold New York.
I have mixed feelings about San Jose. On the one side
Costa Rica : CORCOVADO
Corcovado… It’s hard to wake up from such a dream!
After discovering the Caribbean coast in Puerto Viejo, we decided to end this journey in Costa Rica by visiting another National Park, but on the other side of this beautiful country, on the Pacific coast.
We had had to take a bus for several hours among the banana plantations then a boat in the Rainforest to finally reach our first destination, Tortuguero. As for the Pacuara Lodge, it was a really wild trip in ferocious rapids. So we thought we knew everything about inaccessible, heavenly, pure, preserved … READ MORE
Costa Rica : PUERTO VIEJO
After our two first stop-offs in the rainforest jungle in Tortuguero and the Pacuare Lodge, we travelled to the Caribbean coast and spent two nights in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, a lovely colorful village full of Jamaican influences near the National Park of Cahuita. The surrounding beaches are famous for being the most beautiful ones on the coast, and the surfers particularly like the Puerto Viejo waves, known as the “salsa brava”, the biggest waves in Costa Rica. More than twenty different nationalities have settled there, and you can feel this very cosmopolitan and relaxed atmosphere when walking in … READ MORE
