(FR) FAMILY SPRING BREAK en Turquie
Knit
As promised, after the pictures of my honeymoon in Costa Rica and the fashion festivities of NYFW, we’re now back to daily outfits!
I’m sorry, though, I can’t reflect French weather, so here is another wrapped up outfit to face New York coldness! Harsh winter still goes on here, and the successive layers of snow pile up in the streets without having the time to melt. As I told you already, I love snow. When the first snowflakes started falling at the beginning of winter, I was thrilled. But a few months passed since the initial amazement of discovering … READ MORE
TOMMY HILFIGER – DIESEL BLACK GOLD – MICHAEL KORS – HUGO BOSS
I’m going to end this Fashion Week Diary with four wonderful shows, then close it until next September.
Tommy Hilfiger, Diesel Black Gold, Michael Kors, Hugo Boss.
Four eagerly awaited shows that I really enjoyed, for many reasons.
Let’s not wait any longer and move on to my report.

TOMMY HILFIGER
On Monday, I went to a very cool place called the Park Avenue Armory, just a few blocks away from my place, where Tommy Hilfiger took us to the mountains! The scenery was all snowy, perfectly matching New York’s weather – there had been another snowstorm the night … READ MORE
My NYFW Diary – PORTRAITS
Last but one post dedicated to New York Fashion Week, then we’ll get back to our habits!
Let’s start with a confession : during this crazy week spent running all over the city, I realized I like being on the other side of the camera more and more.
Don’t worry, I’m not going to stop publishing outfits, but I have to say I really enjoy breaking the routine.
So today, here is a series of portraits of more or less famous people spotted at the end of Tommy Hilfiger show and before Michael Kors and Hugo Boss runways.
These are … READ MORE
My NYFW Diary – DAY 3 : Hervé Léger + After Show at the Standard
The Fashion Week is now over, and I actually feel relieved because I’m such a wreck by now. I caught a cold. Despite my desperate attempt to pile up many layers at the risk of sacrificing elegance, I couldn’t cope with the thermal shock between the tropical heat of Costa Rica (100°F in Corcovado) and New York coldness (12°F this morning!). I have a terrible flu, the kind that takes your brain and prevent you from thinking and speaking clearly.
Actually, I don’t mind if this Fashion Week lead me to catching a cold because it was really worth … READ MORE
My NYFW Diary – DAY 3 : Lincoln Center Streetstyle
After the BCBGMAXAZRIA Runway and the Kate Spade and Coach presentations, let’s have a little break with a look, shall we?
I was invited to several shows on Saturday : Ruffian, Son Jung Wan and Hervé Léger. I had loved the first two in last September, but I overslept and wasn’t ready for the Ruffian show at 9 A.M ; then I missed the entry for Son Jung Wan by only a few minutes. I finally watched the show on the screens in the hall, and I actually thought I had a better view from there than from inside the … READ MORE
My NYFW Diary – DAY 2 : Kate Spade & Coach
For this New York Fashion Week Day 2, no catwalks but only presentations.
I like presentations. Of course there isn’t the whole decorum of a runway, but you can take your time and you get to really see the collections, which is the actual purpose of all that, even though we tend to forget it…
Two presentations this Friday with two iconic New York brands and two completely different styles : KATE SPADE and COACH.
It’s in this kind of situation that I realize I have a stylistic schizophrenia. You won’t be surprised to know that I really loved … READ MORE
