The nice thing about this winter’s freezing cold is that as soon as temperatures rise a little, you’re not cold anymore! I act when it’s 35°F as if it was 60°F! And it’s not that surprising : when it’s 35° compared to the 0°/5°F of the previous days, the temperature range is 35 degrees!! It’s like going from 30° to 70° during the night! You’re almost hot!

Heimstone

Avant de vous faire mon petit compte-rendu de cette Fashion Week new-yorkaise avec les défilés habituels, je voulais vous parler en détail de la présentation Heimstone qui a eu lieu lundi dernier au spa Caudalie du Plaza.
Le set design était incroyable : neige artificielle et vrais sapins sur fond de papier peint enneigé, feu de bois et lumière tamisée. Il faisait dans les -17/-18°C dehors, donc on s’y croyait très bien !

Sorry for not being here, I’m exhausted and Fashion Week + organizing our moving haven’t left me much time…
Still, here is the outfit I was wearing on Monday to attend the amazing Tommy Hilfiger’s catwalk – I’ll tell you more about it soon.
Until then, here is a classical outfit (black & white association is always chic, you don’t take any risks!) and a pair of funny flat shoes!

This is my last NY Fashion Week living only a few blocks away from the Lincoln Center, but definitely not the last of all! I really intend to come back to NY once in a while, and why not for catwalks? Anyway, I really don’t want to pressure myself anymore about the photos, I want to have more fun and enjoy as much as I can. Pas du tout du tout le temps de bavarder, la Fashion Week new-yorkaise est lancée !
Je reviens très vite pour vous raconter.
En attendant, suivez ma semaine sur instagram bien sûr, mais aussi mes “stories” sur snapchat (pseudo : paulineprivez), réseau social que j’aime de plus en plus car il oblige à une authentique spontanéité très rafraîchissante un peu perdue (pour la bonne cause ?) sur insta… mais on reparlera de tout ça very soon !

Récemment, j’ai eu une petite période que l’on qualifiera de “compulsive”. Je ne sais pas si c’était en anticipation de la Fashion Week New Yorkaise, ou un moyen de calmer l’angoisse que j’éprouve à l’idée de quitter les USA bientôt mais ce qui est sûr, c’est que je me suis fait plaisir. Après avoir été sage pendant les soldes, j’ai finalement craqué sur pas mal de choses… sur 3 sites principalement – nous ne parlerons que de deux aujourd’hui.
