(FR) FAMILY SPRING BREAK en Turquie
Costa Rica : RIO PACUARE
Fifty shades of Green – part 2!
After our first stay in Tortuguero, we headed to the destination I was the most eager to discover : the Pacuare Lodge, a haven of peace completely lost in the jungle by the Pacuare river. This place is considered by National Geographic as being one of the most beautiful eco-lodges in the world.
Yesterday we talked about photo equipment, today we’ll focus on eco-tourism and sustainable hotel management, an issue you obviously have to care about when you visit that kind of place.
One of this lodge specificity is that it’s really difficult … READ MORE
Costa Rica : TORTUGUERO
Hola! I’m back! Did you miss me?
I came back from Costa Rica on Sunday night, and I’m going to extend my honeymoon a little bit by publishing each day this week a photo story of our journey in this incredible Central American country. Each step will give me the opportunity to talk to you about a specific topic and point out a particular aspect of the journey, whether it’s cultural, personal or technical. We’ll start today with the complex issue of photographic equipment needed in this kind of place.
After landing in San Jose (five-hour flight from New York) … READ MORE
So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, goodbye !
It’s about three in the morning here in New York, I’m gonna take a cab to the airport in less than an hour then flight to San Jose, Costa Rica. Take off in less than four hours! I’m writing theses few lines in the middle of my sleepless night.
It’s time to say goodbye !
I didn’t even have time to prepare some articles for you to read while I’m away…
So now I feel stressed and sad (and excited of course!) to leave you for two weeks.
Today’s pictures were taken by Marion Lietout, a young photographer who was … READ MORE
Same old game
Sales began on December 26th in New York, but I know today is the big day in France, so I won’t be long (I have many things to do before my holidays on Sunday).
Just a few words about my outfit :
I’m wearing a pretty hat and a silk blouse that I found on a website I MUST tell you about – I’m sure you’ll get addicted! I don’t know if you heard, but REVOLVE CLOTHING recently opened a French e-shop! For those of you who don’t know it yet, REVOLVE CLOTHING is THE Americans’ favorite Californian website, … READ MORE
Winners !
READ MORE
Bibendum
Here is a little Bibendum outfit to ward off the cold!
But first : many of you were concerned about weather conditions on my Facebook and Instagram pictures this week-end. It wasn’t until we talked to our parents that we understood why. My message to you is this : stop believing what they’re saying on TV!! Apparently, the French news talked about -40°C in New York!! They also said that there was a snowstorm in New York and that the airport was blocked. Honestly, I don’t undersand : either they are sensationalizing, probably using archives from real snowstorms (because it … READ MORE
