I’m going to end this Fashion Week Diary with four wonderful shows, then close it until next September.

Tommy Hilfiger, Diesel Black Gold, Michael Kors, Hugo Boss.

Four eagerly awaited shows that I really enjoyed, for many reasons.

Let’s not wait any longer and move on to my report.

TOMMY HILFIGER

On Monday, I went to a very cool place called the Park Avenue Armory, just a few blocks away from my place, where Tommy Hilfiger took us to the mountains! The scenery was all snowy, perfectly matching New York’s weather – there had been another snowstorm the night before.

I had a HUGE CRUSH on this collection!

Embroidered tartan shirt dresses with navy velvet belts, the “teddy shearling bomber” worn with aviator sunglasses, the forest green fur teddy : these are some TOMMY HILFIGER pieces I would definitely spend a winter in!

DIESEL BLACK GOLD

On Tuesday, a different place and a different atmosphere for DIESEL BLACK GOLD collection.

We got into the swing of things even before the beginning of the show : extraterrestrial sounds, industrial set design and an aluminium curtain that suddenly fell down to reveal a bright light from which the first silhouette came out, preceded by her shadow projection on the white wall.

Inspirations of the collection : space, cosmos, astronauts. Result : clothes perfectly reflecting Diesel Black Gold’s DNA : denim, leather, futuristic leather hints, mix of materials, and a color palette of black, white and silver.

I really liked the silver parka lined with black fur, and the silhouette with the silver leather top and the matching slim pants.

The two shows I was most looking forward took place on Wednesday.

On the morning, MICHAEL KORS. A major show, always fabulous !

That’s where I took a photo of Blake Lively, for those of you who missed my New York Fashion Week Black and White Portraits.

What can I say about the collection?

It exudes natural femininity.

Everything was BEAUTIFUL.

Python, tweeds, furs, unbuttoned cleavages revealing naked breasts, flowing dresses, pieces borrowed from the male wardrobe, transparency…

This chevron dress ornamented with feathers… these braided hair flippantly tousled…

And those suede or fringed python clutches to be worn vertically…

I’m dying of love. This image of an effortlessly beautiful woman, cool, natural, confident, sexy, and with this falsely neglected bohemian elegance : I JUST LOVE IT!

On the afternoon, I went to a show that was highly expected : Jason Wu’s debut collection for Hugo Boss.

I really enjoyed being on the front row!

I can FINALLY share some great pictures in which you can see the feet of the models and thus the shoe collection! By the way : huge crush on thin laced boots and patent leather slippers : WOW!

The collection is refined, feminine, wise, bourgeoise, modern. The models were walking at a steady pace, with an almost military discipline. The Hugo Boss silhouette is shaped with a strict belt at the waist, sometimes tone on tone. Suits, wrap dresses, and a neutral palette (light grey to powder pink through black and camel) enhanced by sequins, pearls and leather.

I loved this show! The collection is both modern and timeless. The list of pieces I would like to have in my wardrobe is endless.

  8. On en prend plein les mirettes ! Qu’est ce que tu dois être aux anges en assistant à de tels défilés.
    En ce qui me concerne ma préférence va à Michael Kors, féminin mais simple et les coiffures des mannequins ♥♥♥
    Mais j’aime beaucoup aussi la collection d’Hugo Boss et les robes des premières photos de Diesel. Et chez Tommy Hilfiger c’est un peu moins mon style je dirais, mais j’adore la première parka ! Cosy à souhait!
    Et comme d’habitude, merci de nous faire partager tes photos, elles sont vraiment très belles !

  9. Merci de nous faire partager ces super défilés Pauline, quelle chance tu as. Pour mes coups de coeur, premièrement les pull oversize de chez tommy avec ce super blouson. Ensuite, le côté négligé assumé de la collection mickael Kors et ces coiffures^^ enfin la robe grise longue avec ce super décolleté de chez boss!!
    Je suis en train de lancer mon blog, mode, gourmandise, voyage.si tu as le tps d’y jeter un coup d’oeil et de me donner quelque conseils… A bientot j’espere

Je suis bien agréablement surprise par hilfiger j’aime beaucoup ce petit côté montagnard, gros coup de cœur pour les silhouettes de Michael Kors, j’aime toujours autant ce qu’il fait c’est vraiment la classe haut niveau. Et aussi un coup de cœur sur la robe grise très décolletée et ceinturée de Hugo Boss. Merci beaucoup Pauline pour tout ce travail !

    merci infiniment de nous faire partager ces découvertes. Pour ma part j’adore, je suis fan, je suis conquise, j’envie la collection de Tommy. Ces couleurs, ces matières et ses pulls/gilets oversize! j’aime trop. Ensuite j’aime énormément les coiffures un peu bohème négligées de Michael Kors, ça me donne des idées pour demain 😉 car j’adore le style.

  14. La collection Diesel Black Gold, avec ses pièces noires et argent est topissime! Simple et chic à la fois selon moi. C’est en tout cas ce que je porterais le plus facilement entre les créations de ces 4 défilés.
    Merci pour tes photos qui nous permettent de profiter de la NYFW même à plusieurs milliers de kilomètres!

Super les défilés!j’aime beaucoup les bonnets et les pull-capes de Hilfiger ;les tenues chics, féminines et cool à la fois de chez M.Kors franchement je l’adore ce créateur tout est tellement génial (montres, sacs , lunettes, vêtements) et j’aime beaucoup la coupe des vestes de chez Hugo Boss!
    Merci pour les photos personnellement j’aime bien voir les images des défilés.
    Hâte de découvrir celles de France, niveau mode c’est pointu quand même!
